LB1280-- There are enough towns that are working to get out of decades-long slumps, where sufficient people are looking for more people like themselves to ensure progress. Windsor, Bellows Falls and to a large extent White River Junction have done some considerable turning around. So has Hardwick. If you know the questions to ask, you'll get a good sense of any town you look at.

Sorry, but I don't have an inkling of how the accountancy field is.

Gallagher Flynn is one of the largest accounting firms in the area and according to their website they are hiring. They are located in a suburban style office park in South Burlington. If you don't mind a 20-30 minute commute you could live in one of the smaller more rural surrounding towns like Richmond or Hinesburg.
