Can anyone recommend a caterer who will come and do a BBQ and/or clambake? They must have a liquor license as well. Burlington to Middlebury area. Thanks!

I do hope you get enough to share with the WHOLE board and not just tease us with talk of clams!

I had done a lot of research on this when we were thinking of getting married in VT...mind you, I have NOT eaten any of the food prepared by these companies, just passing on the links...

Vermont Caterer, Maple Street Catering || Vermont

Lost Nation Smoke Company: Essex Junction, VT

Spice of Life Catering
(I have heard from several people that these guys do amazing work, but they can be a bit pricey...not sure what your budget is)

I know I have a bunch more links somewhere, just can't find them. They might be on my home machine...I'll check tonight!

"Let's Pretend catering is the top of the line in Burlington. Barb Bardin. Vermont's Premier Caterers They're very expensive."

The new BBQ place, Big Fattys(?), near the bottom of Main St does catering. The food is awesome!

The old standby is Wetherbees. I don't think they have a liquor license though.

Wetherbee's Catering

Caveat, I am related to the owner, although I haven't seen him in years and years.

We have a Big Fatty's in Hartford as well, it's mostly catering but they have a small walk up restaurant a few day a week as well.

EXCELLENT food.
