Yes we reviewed virtually every horse-friendly property in Reading and Woodstock. We found some definite Maybes. Our two issues is that's in on the other side of the mountains from the extended family cluster we're trying to locate close to. So we're compelled to focus on the Champlain Valley. The second issue is we wanted to anchor on a relatively large college town a maximum of 8-10 minutes into the country. So that further narrowed our search as well!

If we didn't have young kids and wanted a more "detached" rural Vermont lifestyle and family wasn't a concern I'd think South Strafford, Londonderry, Guilford or Pownal would be my cup of tea
