We are thinking about it. We would do roof mounted panels. We have some friends who used Bristol Electronics and were/are very happy.

I would LOVE to put solar panels on our house but they don't put them on slate roofs.

Cool thanks for the reference.
I've been emailing with a few guys that seem good, but I found them on the internet.

We had ours installed back in March with SunCommon. Very very very happy with them.

Did you use the Q.Pro panels from SunCommon?

Hmmm....not sure to be honest. I don't know that we had an option of which kind they were - they are manufactured by Sun Power out in CA if I remember correctly.

In fairness I will say we rushed through the process at the end of 2014 to get the state credit that was going to expire. Literally sent in all paperwork on Dec. 31.

nice. No state credit now, as you know, although I think the prices may have come down a little in the last year.

I'm sure they have come down, I think they're just going to continue the downward trend.

I'm actually really surprised by how much we are producing; though the crazy Oct-Dec period is (hopefully) not the norm with regards to how sunny it was!!
