Hi there. We are a local family (rutland area) and I am not really happy with the neighborhoods, schools, or town in general. We have family and jobs we don't really want to leave so we are looking into the Middlebury area which is close enough for everyone. I am set on Middlebury Middle and High school for both academic and athletics but I am curious if anyone has any input on which surrounding elementary schools are best? I've done a little research and seem to be interested in Cornwall, Weybridge, Salisbury, and the Middlebury elementary schools. Which towns are the most friendly, safe, affordable real estate & taxes, etc. . . we're just looking for opinions from those of you who live there and send your kids to those schools.
