Default Possibility of relocating to Putney

Hi, I am up for a job in Putney and had a few questions about renting there. When I move, it will just be me, as my boyfriend will be in the UK for school. I really just want a one bedroom apartment and, after having lived in the UK for three years, I really just want to live in an apartment complex with nice heating and is pretty new. I cannot seem to find ANY listings for renting. The wages I will make will not afford me a house, nor do I really want one, as I feel I would most likely move in a few years. Are there any apartments? Am I just missing them? It's hard to google and since I am currently in the UK myself, I cannot really visit and see what is going on. My mom is driving up there next week (from upstate NY) and she will check the area out, but, any help would be great.

Thanks!

Putney is a teeny, tiny town in Southeastern Vermont. Brattleboro will be your best luck for apartments. The local paper is the Brattleboro Reformer.

Here's a link to the reformer's rental listings - alllistings - Brattleboro Reformer

Then there's always the VT craigslist - craigslist: vermont classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events Housing ads there tend to be mostly in the burlington area but there's an odd s/eastern VT listing here and there.

There are rentals in Putney but they are not the big apartment complexes but in big old houses. It's not that tiny as you have Landmark College and the Putney School there. I would call a local real estate office for info. Actually, some real estate offices rent apartments so maybe that would be the best place to start. I don't know of one in Putney but there are a bunch in Bratt, 10 miles down the road. Here is a link to one apartment building in Putney.
Putney Meadows, Putney, VT 05346
