Red face Looking for a simple apartment...

Hey Vermonters!

My husband and I have been here in Burlington for a couple weeks now and have been apartment hunting 24/7 and have not been able to find the right fit for our needs. If anyone hears of anything, let us know. Here are our basic essentials:

- 2-3 bedrooms
- 1.5 baths
- dishwasher
- washer and dryer (or hookups)
- parking for 2
- storage for two bikes
- clean and decent apartment in safe neighborhood
- around Burlington (South Burlington, Winooski, Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction, and even Williston)

All for $1100 or less... is that possible? I would imagine so, but we have had a really hard time finding something...

Hmmm....have you tried Olde Orchard in South Burlington (next to Lowe's)? Dorset Square Apts (across from SBHS)? As you are finding out, the rental market is tough and most of what is out there is older housing stock.

I have a list of rental resources I can email you. You'll have most of the contacts on the page by now, but perhaps not all of them.

Please feel free to send me a direct message through the board and provide your email address.

Best of luck,
David
