There must be a story in the bible about an ancient city that was like paradise, but there were creatures of venom and pestulance that hide in the bushes.
The State of vermont is an American Paradise, the venomous creatures are its governing bodies. State legislators have done a great job of keeping Vermonts natural resources and appearance in check. However: they have not mastered the finances of running a State. They tax the residents to death.
While surrounded by States that boast the highest percapita income in the nation, they refuse to make there state attractive as a place to purchase real estate.
Residents have done so much to address the legislation at meetings, but they are left to last on the agenda, and then blown off when they request reviews of the States taxing policies.
