I am opening a restaurant in Williston, VT and we like to decorate with some hand painted scenes of the area. Any points of interest you can suggest would be appreciated.

The CV railroad once did some Christmas card shots of kids waving to a train engineer, set in Williston. The Bailey Library and the Vt Historical Society should both have a lot of old photos from back in the late 1800s.

I like Vter's idea about the farmland. If you could find a historical photo of some pretty farmland scene, don't know if your in the Williston or SB part, with Mt Mansfield in the background, since you can see it if not from your location than pretty closeby would be a pretty cool mural.

I used to stop at my fav bagal place(closed) which was next my fav framing supply place(moved down the road to the newest shopping center) in the backside of Taft Corners Shopping Center and the view of Mt Mansfield was awesome.
