Thanks Duff!

I know that in Chester, the Town PD is always waiting to spring into action when someone is exceeding the speed limit. I'm pretty respectful on the roads in VT. One written warning from the VSP on I-91 was all it took...

As for RAVE -- is there a club website? Is it open to vintage vehicles &/or street rods? I have no car club affiliations in VT and it would be nice to have some -- especially when I have my cars up there for a ride.

RAVE (Rutland Area Vechicle Enthusiasts ) is a fun group. ALL vehicles welcome.. or some of our members are without a classic car at the moment and still join in cruises, etc. with their daily drivers ! We have some very neat street rods in the club (those folks go to a lot of the street rod shows in New England), mustangs, novas, old trucks, etc. We cruise, go to parades, go out for ice cream. And the "Big" RAVE show is at Rutland Fairgrounds in July and people come from all over to participate (2 day show). Money after expenses goes to charities. At the end of the show, checks are handed out to representatives of local charities and it is pretty cool to see that kind of reward for our hard work.

Car Clubs at Hemmings Motor News - if you contact Kris, tell her "Duff" sent you. She'll be chuckling on the other end.
