For what? Living? Visiting?
Weston is a teeny, tiny town with a good summer stock theater and home to the Vermont Country Store.
Woodstock is a tony tourist town-lots of fancy inns/b&bs, restaurants, shops, etc.

Woodstock -closer to Dartmouth hospital. I don't know where Weston goes for quality health care. FYI if it matters to you VT has some of the highest taxes on retirees.

Yeah, you can always come over to Quechee & hang out with the rest of the retirees and not feel lonely!

I agree....Woodstock has a lot more going on (Vermont style anyway LOL). The area has a lot of second homes and retirees. Hanover and Dartmouth College are nearby which offers concerts, art shows, sports events, etc. Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital is great and nearby.
Weston is really, really, really small. The closest hospital would probably be Springfield (not looking at a map so I'm guessing ). Dartmouth Hitchcock is not too far if you need more specialized care.
