Wedding Venues (small)
Hello,
We live in CT (sigh) but are looking for a bit of a destination wedding and would like to hear some ideas for sites in VT. We are having a small ceremony, as its a remarriage for both and there will be kids so nothing very fancy. We would love to have an outdoor wedding, but we're not 100% set on that. A site with a barn/farm is ideal, that pretty well describes us. Any ideas are helpful, including the option of finding the perfect place for ceremony & a nice restaurant for about 20-30 people to (make reservations in advance) have a sit down dinner afterwards.
Thanks!

North Hero House Bed and Breakfast
If a small wedding on lake Champlain is an option I recommend this place. there is a peninsula that is on the water where the ceremony can take place and the reception takes place in the dining area of the inn. The bonus is that if people don't want to travel to a hotel they can stay at the inn. The views are breathtaking.

There's the round barn in Waitsfield that is popular for weddings. Sugarbush ski resort is nearby. Also, there is a very quaint, small round church in Richmond that is also popular. That's a beautiful area as well.
Ethan Allen Coachworks is a good limo service to consider. They have a lot to choose from. They are located in Williston and go throughout the state, Canada, and anywhere else.

The Round Barn is beautiful, but mucho $$$$....check out the Skinner Barn in Waitsfield as well, though it holds a lot more than 20-30 people. You might consider any one of the beautiful inns throughout the state - Waitsfield has tons, as do other areas.
