Default First Frost Advisories/Warnings of the Season

Cover up all your flowers and other plants tonight! It's gonna get cold!
I'm in the Champlain Valley so should be OK, but we'll cover up stuff just in case.

I've got watermelons, tomatoes and peppers that all need to be covered tonight. I'll be busy later...hopefully I have enough plastic to go around. They're saying 36 tonight here.

It sure is that time of year again. Can't complain too much though as since July 1st when the new year for computing heating degree days started we are well below the average and before anyone cries global warming we are also below on cooling degree days for the season. A very nice balance. Hopefully we will have a fairly nice and dry fall.

We had 32.7 here. Haven't checked the plants, heck if they don't like it they shouldn't have grown here.
