Default Any 'Bedford Falls' Types of Towns Left?

I am looking to move to a 'Bedford Falls' from It's a Wonderful Life type of town. Good people, Main Street w/ possible Town Square. A place where people actually do 'Neighborly Things' and where kids can grow up without the ghettoness of Chicago.

Do such places still exist?

Places like that only exist in fiction. Real small towns are a lot more complex than that. The pecking order of small towns can be very structured, and sometimes enforced through generations. Can you find small towns? Sure. Will they have a Mainstreet and a square? Maybe, but the local shopping is more likely to be in a shopping center at the next big town. Easy access to automobiles and good roads changed most small towns long before the Walmats and Targets.

Towns in the Bedford Falls mode were more isolated, and in the winter only reachable by railroad/
