Default We got snow!

Had enough snow on the mountain overnight to cancel lift served mountain biking today. Snow at this time really looks cool with the trees at peak foliage.

You can come out of the covers, all the snow has melted. Tonight will be our third night in a row under 30F....oops!

BTW just want to warn you and Arel that this is probably the worst weekend for tourists gawking at us Vermonters. Busloads of them. If you wake up this weekend and you find 50 senior citizens in your driveway with a big bus parked on the road....just ignor them...better yet try to sell them something.

TMTMVT is on a distinguished road
I'm sad...last year at this time it seemed a lot warmer. I DID break down and turn the heat on. I've had the woodstove going for a few days, but it's so much easier to adjust the thermostat.

I'm letting go of summer now, because of new fall activities. But I find myself not liking the change in leaves, because they mean winter is coming.

But at the end of winter, I don't feel ready for spring.

BTW, I haven't met any leaf peepers yet. Maybe that is because, down here in southern Vermont, the leaves are just beginning to change.
