Default Southern Vt Ski area suggestions?

Sorry if it's been asked before, but any suggestions on which ski area to visit days after Xmas would be appreciated. I will be staying for a few days, but only skiing one. Thanks!

If it's between Xmas and New Years things are usually pretty booked up for that holiday by now and the rates are the highest of the season. BUT, perhaps this year your might find some availability and better prices.

While the western resorts are all bracing for a very poor ski season, most New England resorts, based on season pass sales and advanced reservations are looking good. Here at Sugarbush things are looking awesome and like many other resorts in NE is opening this Sat, Nov 22.

check here for a look see at the Vermont resorts, click on the resort's name on the list then click on the resort's logo to go to their website for lodging availability and rates. Southern resorts are Stratton, Mt Snow and Okemo.

cleobarker is on a distinguished road
I'd definately recommend Stratton, charming Bavarian styled village, friendly people, great slopes.
