Hello, my husband & I are looking to spend an afternoon in VT. We're looking for a scenic town to walk around in, do some browsing, shopping and go to lunch. I stumbled upon Stratton Village, is it worth the drive up? We live in NH, about 1 1/2 hr drive away.

I guess some better questions are; has anyone here ever gone to Stratton Village in the spring? If so, are there many places open for business this time of the year? Any restaurants you would reccommend that are open?

Stratton Village? At the ski resort? No. Don't waste your time.

Thanks vter, I'm glad we decided not to go. I did some more research and found that almost everything is closed until Memorial Day weekend. Thanks for the rec, I'll definitely check that out.
