Default Good High Schools in Essex Junction area?

I'm looking for a good high school with good sports programs, namely basketball, in or near Essex Junction. Thanks ahead of time for your feedback.

We live in Rutland, so I don't know first hand... but i believe Essex HS has one of the best athletic programs in the state. you can go to greatschools.net and schooldigger.com for stats, test scores, enrollment info and more details. I have 3 boys and this site has been helpful on searching out the most dominant sports programs...try maxpreps.com
they rank essex 8 in the state for basketball, 5th for football, 5th for lax and for 2nd baseball. the other schools in your area with competitive programs are rice and south burlington, but i think essex has the reputation of the best out of the three. good luck!

Essex Junction has ONE high school; luckily for you it is a good one. It also has a very good Technical skills learning center. Athletics, last I knew, were also very important and well-funded, but I'll let someone else chime in on that who has kids still in the school system.
