Don't believe it. The first thing the transplants from NJ, NY and MA did in Stratton and Barton was go to town meeting to fight wind towers on the ridge lines. It might ruin their "property values". They touted the "effects to the environment on the ridge lines" as an excuse. Hmmmm Let's see.... clean green wind towers, or acid rain denuding forests from coal fired plants? Difficult decision!

HMM, I wonder if that's why (a surprising stat when I learned it, makes sense in some ways, not in others) that your state by far is the most dependant on nuclear power of any state (I'm the kind of environmentalist that feels if controlled right nuclear is actually a very clean partial solution, though I think wind towers are a good and important part of the mix too and sad to see that what is sometimes termed "limosene liberalism" has replaced good environmental, clean energy sense). I'd take wind towers over pollution anyday (and I'm from one of the areas those "elites" are originally from, but of course I rail and rank on them all the time in my local version of these forums, like how they nitpick about school districts that aren't much different from one another )
