What are some of the surrounding towns to Barre with a good school district?

Butbutbut, Barre is the home of Thunder Road "the nations site of excitement. How can you not love Barre? I spent many happy summer nights watching the races from "beer hill".

Barre = Struggling economics and native Vermonters.

Montpelier = Cool [ish] 60's hipsters.

My good friend grew up in Graniteville, and went to U-32. He had a good experience there.
