I don't even trust them to tell me what it's going to be like in a couple hours never mind 5 days. BTW, why do they have so many weathermen for a tiny station? And if I'm not mistaken, isn't one of them is about ten years old?

Course **if and when it warms up will probably be too hot and humid?
Can't win some years I guess.
P.S. The skeeters will be happy.

I'm not sure why, but I've had very few skeeters over the past two or three weeks. And almost no deerflies. I don't get it.

Shhhh! Don't say anything or the evil little things will hear you and come out...
I got eaten alive back in May by black flys when I forgot bug spray but other than that they've been mild this year...

How do you think the "Green Mountains" stay green?

For green you need some sun, of which we and the entire northeast have been getting almost none. Burlington gets tons of cloudy days but this is ridiculous. Nice sun today, let's hope it lasts.
I will admit however that the dramatic weather on Sunday was a sight to behold. My wife and I were along the Mad River in Waitsfield and seeing, at the same time, black mountains mixed with lime green mountains in patchwork fashion, under patches of bright blue sky mixed with black sky. Five minutes of pouring rain followed by five minutes of gourgeous blue sky and intense sun with mist rising from the ground. It was nature at it's most awe-inspiring.
BTW, the Mad River area around Waitsfield may be my favorite part of Vermont. So peaceful and serene with gorgeous scenery.

Yes..Sunday was pretty crazy. Over all really nice, but then those rogue 5 minute downpours in the afternoon followed by sun.
Looks like those of us in western/northern VT will be fairing better in the sunshine department over the next few days. Those further east will still be dealing with that pesky storm off the coast. My aunt in NE Mass is considering building an ark.
