Verizon and AT&T both get spotty reception throughout the state. Some areas are better than others for both services. We use Verizon now and have had less of a hassle than when we were with Unicel(AT&T). We had the same problem with Unicel, but we were able to resolve the issue on our own. I can go to parts of central Vermont and get bad reception where an AT&T phone gets great reception and two days ago I was on the waterfront and my freinds AT&T phone was getting horrible reception and mine was just fine. It depends on your location.

archangel2003 is on a distinguished road
I spent two weeks there and my AT&T phone only picked up a signal once!

It was only because we were right near the New Hampshire state line, and as we drove away the signal went away!

Made me wonder about those "can you hear me now" commercials, my answer would have been "Hmmm, I wonder if they they are ever gonna ask me if I can hear them"!!!

You can hear them everywhere but Vermont!

I still loved it there!!!!!
HA, so quiet, no phones ringing!!!!
