Default Heating Oil Price

A bit of welcome news in the current rough economy here in Vermont is that heating oil pre-buy rates are the lowest in over four years. My provider has a ten day window to sign up and I got it at $2.399 which also happens to be the current COD rate as well. A reprieve for those who paid well over $4 last winter. Researching the price for heating oil we still have the highest overall rate in New England as I saw in Maine some were offering rates as low as $1.95 p/gal. Nonetheless, I breathed a sigh of relief at 2.399 as I can't imagine the price will drop much lower if it drops at all.

Sadly, prices aren't great still around here. But thats not to bad. Who is your provider, if you don't mind my asking? That is cheaper then my provider offered as a prebuy (and I missed their window anyway...to many big bills due last month)

Flu, that's pretty good. We were offered $2.61 and we thought that was great compared to last year.
