Wow, that brief storm did wonders for me! It's much more pleasant now. Also got my window mounted twin fan which is currently bringing all that fresh cool air in. Just hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow as I have things to do outside!
This last few weeks is like a bad NY (Long Island) summer. Bleh, yuck...we moved to get away from this...okay, it does cool off at night a bit..
I truly HATE hot weather.
At least in NY we had air conditioning. This is brutal.
Perhaps you can blame me for taking it with me. I arrived up in VT Thursday night, and both NY and VT started scorching on Friday. No escaping it. Drove home last night and one thing I noticed -- at least th VT nights were cooling off to tolerable sleeping temps; it was still in the high 80's in So CT, NYC and on LI after sunset.
We whine when it's not summer. We whine when it's summer. Our license plates should read
Vermont - The Whiny State.
I don't whine during the winter, I just wish the vegetables would grow in the winter instead of the summer.
