Default Nice little day trip from Charlotte

My wife and I took the ferry from Charlotte to Essex, NY Friday night and ate at the Dockside restaurant next to the ferry dock in Essex. Decent, not great food, but fantastic view if you dine outdoors. Slightly overpriced lunches from 12 to 15, you can have them at night too. The trip is more about the ferry ride ($7 roundtrip) and the restaurant view. We came back at twilight with beautiful pink and orange sky and a great view of Adirondack and Green mountains.

Awesome!

Today we picked 18 pounds of indescribably delicious blueberries in Rochester. My BlackBerry attacked a blueberry and won:

Then we lunched at the Old Hancock Hotel. Headed home over Middlebury Gap where we stopped to walk around Texas Falls. Took this photo, which just proves it's never too early for fall in Vermont:

It also proves I need to clean the lens on my BlackBerry.
