Default It's really nice out today!!!

Get out and enjoy this day before the ice flies again! I took the dog on a hour walk AFTER working out for half an hour.

Everyone else, get moving!!

That's nice to hear. In Central Vermont it's been cloudy all morning. I wouldn't mind seeing some sun.

Perfect, isn't it? I had a weekend of family events in Salem, MA, and it was deliciously beautiful out each day and night. I'm back in VT and I hear we have more of this weather to come. At least for a short while. Ahhhhhh.

I saw a temperature sign that said 68 degrees!

I did some exploring today in Dummerston. In the morning, I went to Stickney Brook and climbed around with some children and two other adults. We went to pick up litter, as a service project, but this was the first time I visited the brook and got to look around. Afterwards, I drove the length of East West Road, something I've wanted to do for a while. I went on Route 30, then over the Dummerston covered bridge, then all the way to Route 5. Very pretty road, but hilly and curvy. It must be difficult to navigate in the winter without very good snow tires. The village of Dummerston Center is nestled about halfway through, like a secret, hidden Shangri-La.

Since I'm fighting some kind of cold, I didn't do much else. I did a couple of errands on the way home and since then I've been taking it easy. I wanted to go swimming (I still can, as the pool closes at 9) but I think I'll just stay home and veg out.

We enjoyed a nice ferry ride over to Plattsburgh today, just for the fun of it.
