Default Snow!

So, how many have snow on the ground now? None here near town, but I was checking out some beaver ponds near Chittenden higher up and there was a bit of snow up there. Kind of weird, green wild plants in patches where the trees protected them, snow elsewhere. Funny sight. I love being out in the hills and mountains this time of year. Can't wait till there's snow down here too!

I thought I saw some today. Not really looking foreward to snow as we didn't get a great summer or fall as payback this year.

I prefer we don't get snow until Christmas, it just makes the winter seem so much longer when there's early snow on the ground. Six months of winter is enough!

It tried to snow today a little but nothing major. I think it lasted a few seconds, just flurries.

No you are not, I was OK with it when I was younger, these days me and my knees, back, ankles, ect. are just tired of it now.

Well, it spit snow on and off today at the Canadian border. Yesterday we woke up with a skinny white blanket on the ground. The road in front of my home had also been sanded. Jay Peak has been making snow on its stateside trails this week, but not below 2000 feet. It looks a little odd presently.

In 1990 we got a major storm that brought over 2 feet of the stuff around the 10th of Nov. Knocked out power everywhere for days - and it all melted before Christmas. So I guess anything can happen from here on in.

Remember a few years ago when we had mild winters and everyone was talking about global warming. Haven't heard much about that recently.
