Default Did southern VT get hit by the storm that just hit DC and NYC?

Hi! I'm down here in DC, where we just had a record breaking winter storm (for us). My friend went to Bellows Falls in southern VT. Did the storm hit up there, too, or veer east of VT? I haven't heard from her yet, just wondering if it's because of a storm.

Not even a flurry in Windsor, VT. Disappointing, I was hoping for some serious accumulation.

The storm never reached Brattleboro. We didn't get single flake.

There was a forecast, I think, of freezing rain on Saturday, but we only got regular rain.

Today it snowed a bit. Just a dusting. It was pretty while it lasted.

I heard that the snow in NYC is already gone.

About 6" so far today with another 6-8" by tomorrow morning here in northern Vermont. Got my shovel and sand from the local hardware store....what's a Home Depot and why do we need one?

Skied at Bolton yesterday during the snow. Conditions were fabulous despite the rain the day before. Headed to Catamount today for sledding.

Down in NYC we got about 10-12", which is huge for us. It surprisingly lasted for a whole week before being washed away by rain on Saturday. At least in Queens...

My SO and I are both sick, or else we were planning on being up there this week...heard Stowe is getting some good snow.

I drove home from Ct yesterday afternoon. It was mostly rain until we got to Williston at around 6pm. It snowed most of the night up here. We ended up with about six inches as well. Roads are horrible, even at this time. The temp is so low out, the sand/salt mix is not doing much. They are closing roads still. Took over an hour to drive about a mile and a half. I was supposed to go to Montpelier this evening, but the interstate has sections they keep closing as well.
