Wow!!
Just an observation~as of 7:02 pm, Vermont was the ONLY state forum with YESTERDAY being the last post made. Every other state had posts at some point today. It must be the weather drawing everyone outside!!! Anyone putting in A/C's to get through the next couple of days???

Harry, you beat me to it. A favorite anecdote re. Cal went something like this:
A lady who found herself beside him at an official dinner, remarked to him that she had bet a friend that she could get more than two words from the silent Coolidge. His answer was clear and immediate: You lose!

Silent Cal!
Friends of the family lease a farm house on the Coolidge family homestead in Plymouth. It's a beautiful place. They've leased for decades in exchange for keeping the historic home maintained. I understand one of his descendants wants to get back into farming and they may have to move out.

That's what happens on the forum, or, I would imagine, on any forum.
You start a thread and it goes in all sorts of unforseen directions.
Once your post is on the forum, in effect it belongs to the group.
Not a bad thing.
