Question Real Estate Growth Projections

I'm wondering if homes will appreciate in the next few years in southern Vermont, particularly in the Brattleboro area.

It has been posted that Brattleboro is growing, but I've noticed that some homes have come down a bit in price because people were not buying.

Is this a general trend, or is it a function of individual properties?

Do people think that homes bought today will appreciate in value over the next few years? Or do people think that home values will generally go down? Or are feelings mixed? Or do people feel it is impossible to predict?

What is growing in Brattleboro that will attract people to the area? I've read an important tech firm has moved to the area. Does this herald a trend?
