I think that's cool, too. Even though it's been 22 years since I left Florida, I still regard snow events and quirks like that as magical.

Your dog and I have similar taste in weather.
I heard the low in Rutland tomorrow night is supposed to be 26 degrees.

Not much in Montpelier--no accumulation.

In my experience it isn't that unusual to have snow on Mother's Day, but it is unusual to have snow on Mother's Day after we've had temps in the 80's.

The low last night down here was only one degree above the record low. Kind of unusual, not unheard of, but not common either down here (wouldn't even blink over it back home in the NEK near the Canadian border).

There was hard frost all over the place this a.m. The National Weather Service is advising for frost tonight and tomorrow night. At least they took down their earlier prediction of rain/snow for tonight. I worked on some flower beds today, but haven't considered planting annuals yet.

Snow after being in the 80s, is more typical of Colorado and Wyoming. LOL.

Not snowing on May 9, 2010, but the day time temps were unseasonably low and windy! Brrr! Had to put on two layers to do yardwork in North Springfield.

And I can't even remember what I had for breakfast yesterday. Do you keep a weather log RJARRRPCGP?
