Today I watched a trailer on digital cable from this game's developers, and it seems to me that the object of this game is to simply be the biggest A-hole possible -- am I correct? Here's the trailer I saw:

The second game wasn't much different, but this looks fun.

I played the 2nd one and it was a very fun GTA clone. Silly, brutal and often very hardcore, but fun nonetheless. Just don't give it to your kids
The 3rd one looks simply ridiculous, but in a good way. I'll be waiting for the reviews and if it delivers what the developers are promising, I might get it.

I gotta say, the after the miserable experience that GTAIV was, Saints Row has stolen my heart. GTA, the original bad-ass of them all, has to be Saints Row for my affection now.

As such, I've already pre-ordered SR3 on NewEgg for $48. Can't wait for it to get here. I was a tad worried that SR3 might go a little too far into the 'wacky,' but this video has calmed my doubts. Still plenty of SR3 fun in this game.

Also, that VTOL looks nicely designed--I love the X-plane forward-swept wings.

I guess you are not familiar with this franchise. Yes, the object is to be an ask-hole. A homicidal one at that.
