[quote=Everest209;21385376]I'll be playing MW 3, based on previous generations it's superior to BF.

Ok tell us how Modern Warefail 3 will be superior to BF3.

Previously it was superior. Up to COD4.
MW3 no. Not really.
No ranked dedi's, no lean, ****ty matchmaking, hackers galore on their IW servers :|

Well I can't wait for BF3, IGN did the review and it seems the game is as good as expected. I also fired up BC2 this weekend to do some training, seems I'm not as rusty at this as I thought I was. Hope to meet you all on the field of battle
Yac.

Yea 9.5 out 10 is good. Will be at gamestop at Midnight to get my copy on PS3. I've decided to pass on MW3, to many good games out right now to waste $60 on trash.

Will it be ready to play at midnight? The PSN may need to update servers and maybe a patch.

Good question. Don't know for sure, but I would imagine it would be ready by midnight. Probably a long install.

Don't matter now, I know it's working and been playing for the last few hours. No issues except a few instances of lag. Servers may be overloading.
I just know I am having a blast. I was afraid that maps would be small, no worries. HUGE maps that are designed for both quick action and slower but tense tactical movement and combat. They also have tweaked the damage so you don't get killed as fast. The few matches I've had are also long! I only played conquest so far but I swear one lasted an extremely tense half hour.

Sound and graphics are incredible, maybe not PC level, but impressive. Urban fighting is much more vertical (firing from windows vs the street). The best thing is the simulation of auto fire weapons. This game comes the closest to any video games I've played in the last decade so far in perfecting the simulation of this, so that you can almost feel the weight and the kickback of auto fire (hint - fire in bursts).

The best thing? Snipers, the plague of shooter games everywhere, are no longer a factor. I was not killed once by a sniper, and neither did I see useless teammates sitting back from the front lines, not contributing and hoping for their 3 kills a game. You fight in this game.

Default BF3 all day.

Yea this game is awesome! Most people I spoke with at gamestop earlier stated that they will pass on MW3. I love everything about this game so far. I did not get a chance to check out campaign yet.

I can't even get onto any multiplayer servers for BF3. Co-op works for me though. If I recall correctly when I think back there were also major lag and server connection problems with BF1942 and BF2 PC versions upon release as well. BF2: Special Forces was unbearable.

Oddly I never have any issues with any of the Call of Duty series games. They all run smoothly, no multiplayer server connection issues, etc

My origin user name is Wardude1987 and I am on PC if anyone wants to do co-op, I need a partner for the 2nd mission (the one with the helicopters providing air support).
