Should I get this laptop for gaming?
The Acer Inspiron, the first laptop on the website, I am considering of getting. I am wanting a laptop that would be able to play new games up to six years even on low quality for graphics. I am wanting to play Guild Wars 2. I own Halo, Morrowind, Bioshock 2, and Left 4 Dead 2, and Dynasty Warriors Online. So playing all those games would be a must. My max to spend is $900, but really hoping to spend $850.

Thanks
Also, I bought a Nintendo 3DS and not sure I want it now. I really was excited for the new Mario games coming out, but not too sure now how I feel now. I feel after one year I will get bored of the games where as Guild Wars 2 never ends.

Check the requirements on those games that you want to play on the laptop. If the laptop meets the minimum requirements, it should be able to handle, but I must say $900 for a gaming laptop is not a lot of money. 6 years in the world of PC and video game is a long time also.
I bought a Samsung laptop $1200 for gaming about 1.2 years ago, and it has handled Champions online, DC Universe online, Rift, and Final Fantasy 14 with no problems but I have the settings at lowest quality.

Hard to upgrade laptops without spending a good amount of money. I agree with the above poster. Even though I can not see the laptop(at work) I doubt a 900 dollar gaming laptop will last more than 1.5 years as far as gaming is concerned.
I can understand the need for a laptop, but just keep in mind for 900 dollars you could grab a desktop that will last you longer and be much easier to upgrade.
If you care to actually list the specs/hardware i could probably offer a better opinion.

Not sure about that one, but the thing about a laptop is they are difficult to upgrade, particularly video cards. I would personally never recommend a laptop as a gaming machine, although of course some are marketed for that purpose.

I made the mistake of getting a laptop for my gaming. (Very low end modern laptop I should say lol.) Go with desktop since you can upgrade anything. My laptop I can upgrade a whopping ram and battery lol.
