Out of these three games, which would be the easiest for me to get into? I played part of the original Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil on the Playstation and also beat original Kingdom Hearts and also beat Chain of Memories and played the first half of KH2.

Thanks.

I am leaning towards Metal Gear and RE: Revelations.

Problem is that each one is a completely different genre with a completely different play-style.

Revelations is the horror I <3 from Resident Evil 1 and 2 with the better mechanics of 4 and 5. Definitely a consideration for being my favorite RE game of all time.

Snake Eater 3D... well, a demo is to be released tomorrow, so I'll give that a test sometime this weekend at Katsucon. The actual game comes out next week...

And a release date for the NA version of KH3D has yet to be announced.

If you're looking for the right-here-right-now, Revelations. If you're willing to wait... just get all three and enjoy.

For now, yeah.

Of your list, it's the only one actually available for purchase in our region.

Would you say Revelations Normal Mode is hard? Is Raid Mode hard? What makes the game hard?

I don't find it hard.

I find it mechanically and psychologically accurate of a game in the "horror" genre. Revelations took the best of all their games and made one of the best RE games I've ever played.

Revelations isn't hard as much as it is suspenseful. They took the old mechanic of "sparse ammo" to boost the horror feeling in the game. They also took out the run button.

It may boost the difficulty, but not by much once you get used to ammo conservation and the dodge mechanic that they brought back from RE3.

Can you repeat episodes? Like once u beat normal? I missed one handprint and dont want to replay the whole game to get it. I moved onto the next scenario of ep 5.
