Im going way back to the 1980's, but anyone remember the Epyx "Games" series? Summer Games I and II, Winter Games, World Games, etc.

The best versions of these were on computer, where you used a joystick (lamer versions were made for NES, where the controls were dumbed down for the controller and the countries you could be reduced to 5).

I think a couple might have ended up on the Wii Virtual Consule, but If they combined all of them together with updated graphics and expanded country selection, Id go for it.

The Games series was pretty great. I remember having the hardest time figuring out the controls for diving in World Games (I think).

I don't know that most of these will be made with newer graphics or anything like that, mainly being most of the classic companies, save for a few select ones, have become defunct in one way or another. But all hope is not lost, there IS a company out there that is releasing a good many classic games, only runable for modern systems (ones that were dos they just kinda slapped it in with DOSBox already attached, but others they made compatible with modern Windows versions) and DRM free.

If you get a chance check out GOG.com for the selection of what they do have, and they update their selection quite often. And I am sure if there is enough requests for a certain game, they will patch it.
