They do have that campaign simulator though from Stardock that's gotten decent reviews.

Also Sim City is probably the closest to simulating a mayor

And Anno 2070 is very much like a "president of the country" simulator, with RTS battles unfortunately shoehorned in

I know it isn't Mario but didn't one of the Games series from Epyx feature Fencing? Must have been World Games, they were scraping the bottom of the barrel by that point.

A legitimate, realistic tactical shooter. This hasn't really been done well since SOCOM 1&2 and Ghost Recon 1&2, although the Rainbow Six series has been fairly solid.

And I absolutely second the idea of a submarine simulator.

I need a real, techincal, open world, 4x4ing simulator for the 360. Not this arcade stuff that keeps coming out.

Also need a really good, and again technical firefighting game.

How about the ARMA series? Even though it is not close quarters, it's still very tactical
