Honestly, I don't have a single favorite game. I have many games that are included in my favorites list:
Final Fantasy Series - there's only one or two I didn't like.. *cough* XI *cough*
Star Ocean Series - Yes, I even liked Till the End of Time
Phantasy Star Series + Online + Blue Burst + Universe
Devil May Cry Series
FlyFF
Maple Story
Last Chaos
Disgaea
.Hack Series
Halo Series
Megaman Battle Network Series (only a few, though)
CastleVania Series
Legend of Zelda Series
And a lot more. Basically, I have no favorites, I just have a lot of games I enjoy.

Hrm. I'd pull out the old list, but it's in vast need of updating. So, for now, I'll make it nice and simple.
Final Fantasy XII.
Take Tactic's great storyline, mix in an interesting and intuitive battle system, sprinkle in some damned nice graphics that rival some current PS3 and 360 games, and garnish it with so many damned sidequests that you're playing the game for 100+ hours.
My god do I love that game.
