I don't agree with Xbox One but at least they had the balls to tell us up front about their used games policy. Now I feel Sony saw an opening and now is pandering to the masses to get that initial sale then hit you with what xbox is doing but putting all the blame on the developers all the while they knew that this is what was coming down the pipe line.

There is a bit of difference between what Xbone is doing and what PS4 is doing.

Sony is saying, besides the requirement for PSN+ for multiplayer online, there's no change in policy for disk-based games from the existing PS3 model.

MS is the one changing its policy from XBox 360. Well, since they have the cojones to announce it, they should be able to take the backlash as well.

I'm retracting my previous statement in this thread and I'm very excited for the new systems.

I am pre-ordering a PS4, but only because of the price difference and (eventual) streaming games.

I currently have an Xbox 360 (w/Kinect) but don't have a PS3, so I hope that the PS4 can stream some of the PS3 games I've missed.

----

I still will pick up a Xbone, but next year when there's a price drop. I know my friends are getting the Xbone first.

This may sound premature but I've decided definitively that my next high-end console purchase is definitely going to be the PS4.

Of course I'll also be picking up a Wii U but that's a given seeing as Mario Kart is my all-time favorite franchise in all of video gaming.

So this time it'll be the PS4/Wii U combo that'll define me just like the 360/Wii combo seemed like the intelligent and financially prudent choice last time around.
