I'm really unimpressed with the steam holiday sale. Not sure if it's because I have most of the games I'd want to play or if they are just not putting good stuff on sale. Only thing I bought so far was Rise of Nations.
The steam holiday sale does seem very lackluster this year, and I think it is more the layout they are using for it. It usually is more eyegrabbing and looks like more thought was put into it. This year seems kind of slapped together for some reason. I am still seeing good games going on for sale just not as eye popping.
Just watch with this, it's been done by DotEmu. They were the ones responsible for the unplayable online co op on Metal Slug 3.

I am sure if you are going for single player or local co op (if it's on there) its probably amazing. But the online co op on Metal Slug 3 has been known to be very very unplayable unless you are next door. Alot of people were very upset (including myself when I saw how horribly it ran) to find that it will pause your action multiple times per stage to resync.
I just want to add to my post above. I'm NOT sure if it'll work with this Origin version (it should...) but there is a community-inspired mod for Theme Hospital (that requires you to own Theme Hospital because it requires the files) named CorsixTH.
I have yet to try it, but when I take a break from my console I'll try it. It's on version 0.40 right now, but version 0.30 seems to play like the original version, except with newer updates.
Bundle Stars is having a good amount of bundles on sale right now. I'm tempted to buy Lords of the fallen bundle but... I'll grab on console when the price comes down.
