Maybe I'm just behind the times but I loved Call of Duty when it was a World War II simulation. I played Modern Warfare and it was ok but I lost interest in the series. I like something that isn't so dependent on multiplayer to be good. The campaigns seem to have become shorter and shorter and less creative. That's what I like about GTA. I can mess around for hours and not play a single mission.
This year's GOTY competition is about to be ON!!!! Let's see what the COD crowd will think of this lol.
The game is easily gonna surpass $1 billion possibly by the end of the month, keep in mind the weekend hasn't even came yet and GTA Online hasn't launched. I know many people that are dying to buy the game this weekend when they're off work/school.

Oh my God man, this game is making more than most Hollywood blockbusters! Rockstar did it AGAIN!!! They never cease to amaze me!
Until someone comes out with a better FPS, I don't think CoD is going anywhere. The multiplayer is the draw.
Not for me... I have CoD for one reason and one reason only... Zombies. I play solo and co-op with my brother. Our best effort is something like round 36 on Der Reise... LOL
