its been a month since the launch, and stores still dont have it in stock.

however, ever since launch day i have been checking craigslist here, and people have been selling it for 850 the night after, and it has slowly gone down week by week as people who waited in the cold wants to get paid. now i see some go for as low as 440, which is sad since they are just breaking even (theres a 10% sales tax in my state) so they paid 440 for it after tax, and i guess they have been trying to get top dollar for it for weeks but got too greedy.

I bought one at WalMart (in the store) yesterday and on Amazon Friday. Gamestop had some in on Sunday also. I signed up at nowinstock.com and it gave me a browser alert when someone online had them available. I hit Amazon that way and within a few minutes they were gone. Good luck on your search!

Keep your eyes open and eventually you'll see PS4's out in the wild. I was in Walmart the other day and they had two of them in the case so apparently they're being stocked all the time. Of course, PS4's are VERY desirable so they don't hang around very long before somebody snatches them up.

Last week GameStop had some come in on their shipment and were going to start selling them the next day which was a sunday. The guy I spoke to said I needed to be here at like 7am sunday morning to get one as they sell FAST(the store opens at 10). I had to be at work anyways so, meh. I think I'll just wait until January or February when I was told they should be in stock and on shelves since the rushed demand for them will be about over. Plus, Xmas so far, this year has been expensive, so waiting until Jan or Feb may be a better option for me anyways. All I know is I WANT ONE !! lol. But I would hazard a guess and say February they will be readily available.

I expect it'll be late winter or early spring before the PS4 (and Xbox One) will be readily available in brick-and-mortar stores as well as Amazon.

That was more or less the case for the Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and IIRC the N64.

I was out Christmas shopping this evening and I saw plenty of Xb1's and PS4's on store shelves. Gamestop even had a sign on their door announcing that they have both consoles in stock.

I used Wii Alerts - The only site you need to find a any hard to find product. And its free! to find out who has them online.

I've seen some at Amazon too... In addition to Gamestop and Walmart.

What's funny is even though units are available at various retailers there are still people paying $500-$600 on EBay.

Amazon just sold out of the last shipment for the last minute Christmas present buyers, but it wasn't particularly hard to get before then.
