Anyone notice they haven't used a WASP character? White Anglo Saxon American
GTA 3- Italian American who worked for an italian mafia
Vice City- Italian American
San Andreas- Black American
IV- Slavic, Jew, Dominican
V- Italian American, Black American, Canadian
i think for the 6 one they should use a middle age mid life crisis WASP like in breaking bad. A Hot Latina girl that wants revenge from the Cartels, and a nerdy Asian guy that accidentally got into a poop storm.
The map should be divided into Las Vegas, Denver, and a dangerous Mexican city like in red dead redemption
Are you sure Michael from GTA V is Italian? Is Townley an Italian last name?
I don't know about you, but Saints Row 4 was awful. Absolutely nothing like the previous games. How do you go from taking on streets gangs to fighting aliens..? It seems to me that they wanted to series to turn as goofy, humorous, and stupid as possible. At least GTA 5 was good enough to forget SR4 existed.
Saints Row 3 hinted that the series was going over the top and goofy. Some of the things done in that game a bit ridiculous. I couldn't be bother with Saints Row 4, largely because I was annoyed with the third game and they throw all of that alien invasion mess.
As for a new location, either the Bay Area, London, New Austin in the 21st century (location of Red Dead Redemption) or return to Vice City.
Rockstar should do a much better job laying out the city. I thought the layout of Los Santos and Blaine County was underwhelming. There were plenty of landmarks that serve no purpose in the game. If there is going to be some much emphasis on how the map is X times larger than the previous game, it can be worthwhile.
I believe Vice City (Miami) would be a possible setting. Imagine what it will look like with today's technology that has come a long way since 2002!! And since the map will most likely be bigger than GTA V, they should incorporate my Caribbean idea for the game as well to make the new Vice City world even more immersive and of course the Everglades
I liked how in GTA 4 there was the different hoods, blacks, asians, latinos, vice city could do the same, bring the hunting element from Red Dead Redemption where you can hunt panthers, crocs, gators, sharks n other florida wild life.

Definitely! Especially the different hoods. Vice City 3.0 could include Cuban hoods, Haitian hoods, Jamaican hoods, Bahamian hoods, Eastern European/Russian hoods, Dominican hoods, Brazilian hoods, Barbadian hoods, Mexican hoods, African American hoods, Southern white hoods/trailer parks, etc. Have the new Greater Vice City/Caribbean area consist of a plethora of multicultural ghettos and enclaves reflective of the Miami-Dade-West Palm Beach-Key West metro area. Speaking of which, the game can also include versions of West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Key West in order to conjure up a virtually rough adaption of South Florida and the Caribbean itself.
I'd also like to see San Francisco or Las Vegas recreated in the next GTA since those cities in San Andreas lacked detail
I wonder if Las Venturas (Las Vegas) will stay in San Andreas in the current HD generation. And if it does, will it standalone or will it be grouped with San Fierro (San Francisco)?
If R* does a rendition of San Diego for the next GTA, they should include Tijuana and Las Vegas together since they're all real close to each other geographically (TJ is less than 15 or so minutes from SD and Vegas is probably like a 3 hour drive/1 hour flight from SD.
I just wish they'd go back to making the games fun and funny. I never finished 4. I'm sure it was authentic to the experience they wanted, but gosh it was tedious. Hardly any of the fun or soul from the previous games. I didn't even try 5.
At least we have Saints Row still making GTA games since GTA games aren't GTA games anymore.
This was intentional. They said they were going for a more realistic approach to crime. I prefered the over the top stuff that happened in the PS2/Xbox era.
