Anyone out here love to play Guitar Hero. My favorite is of course, Guitar Hero 3. What is your favorite song to play or hardest to beat?

Rock Band is actually better. The people who used to make Guitar Hero make Rock Band now.

[quote=NooYowkur81;2802509]Rock Band is actually better. I have to agree. Guitar hero in the higher levels is frustrating at best IMO. I think playing a real guitar is easier than the hardest level on G.H. I also like the stratocaster guitar that comes with Rock Band more than the G.H. guitar.

It's good you like these types of games. I didn't mean to derail your thread, sorry. G.H. does have some good songs, more classics than Rock Band (not counting D.L. content) I'll have to look at it again for my favorite tracks.

Without playing through GHIII, which I have yet to purchase (paying the bills comes first, I'm an adult now ) I went to a friend's house to try my hand at Raining Blood. On Expert.

I lasted about two-thirds of the way to the first verse.

I've played all 3 GH games. All are fantastic!

Out of all the games, my favorites to play are "Jordan" by Buckethead, "Hangar 18" by Megadeth, "Evenflow" by Pearl Jam, and "Cherub Rock" by the Smashing Pumpkins.

The hardest song for me to beat on expert level, that I actually beat, was "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I've yet to beat "Jordan", or any of the songs on the last set list from GH3.

The absolute hardest song in all three of the games has to be "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce. If you guys haven't seen this song on expert difficulty I recommend you go to YouTube and watch some videos of it. How these guys can beat it is beyond me. It took me forever to beat it on hard difficulty.

I totally agree with you on Through the Fire and Flames, insane on expert. I also love free bird, evenflow, and jordan.

Through the Fire and Flames is fairly difficult on medium difficulty. It's just an insane, but oh-so-cool song.
