Default Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Official Website:Smash Bros. DOJO!!

I don't know about you, but I can't wait for this game. It's going to be one of the great best games of all time, I'm sure. 33 characters, mainly video game all-stars. I'm especially glad that Sonic the Hedgehog is going to be in it, which set's up a marquee match up: Mario vs. Sonic.
And the music in this game will be a museum of music from others games going all the way back to the NES days.
Some of my favorites (all from Youtube):

X:
Tunnel Scene
Donkey Kong:
Arcade Remix
F-zero X:
Devil's Forest
F-zero:
Fire Field
Meta Knight's Revenge:
Jazz Arrangement
NES:
Medley
Legend of Zelda OOT:
Medley
And of course...
Sonic the Hedgehog:
Green Hill Zone

It comes out March 9th (if they don't change it again). I WANT IT!

Any thoughts?

Default The Cult of Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Having never played the original N64 Super Smash Brothers or its GameCube sequel Melee I wasn’t really looking forward to their successor. I only purchased Super Smash Bros. Brawl because Radio Shack had it on sale for just $30 and I wanted another game with on-line capabilities to play on my Wii.

Now that the point is clear please allow me to say that Brawl is an absolute BLAST and I’m really happy I picked it up. Granted it took me a little while to get used to its play mechanics having been raised on such fighting game milestones as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. After a short while, however, I learned to just let go of my old notions of what a fighting game should be and embrace Brawl’s sublime simplicity.

I could write volumes about what Brawl is and how it plays but I thought it’d just be easier to link to a longish video segment that is unintentionally funny and explains it all.
