psssh* here's a secret whisper* : people don't wanna blame themselves.

instead of admitting their wrongs they blame something else with explosive statement .

I only 50% agree with that. Crack has addictive properties. SO do some other substances.

But something like a game, where the only addiction is the persons own facination/involvement is not an addictive substance. It is, however, an enabler.

People who like jumping off rooves had a hard time in indian tribes.....

My ex roommate got really into WoW and ended up losing his job, his girlfriend, being kicked out of my house for not paying rent and ended up living in his friends garage for a while. Thankfully, he's gotten much better. I didn't believe video games could do that to a person until I experienced it first hand. It's pretty crazy.

Video games didn't create his situation...they were a factor in his situation. It is up to each individual to control themselves.

Anyway, I'm rolling a 51 Blood Elf Warlock on Dalaran ("Tedbuckland" if anybody wants to say "hello"). Looking forward to 55 for the DK.

I quit WoW back in 2008 before the DK expansion. I was 5-boxing: 1 Paladin + 4 Shamans. I still worked and still in the same job, have mortgage, wife and 3 kids going to private school.

The way I saw it, it was far cheaper than picking up a hobby like golf, or going to Vegas, or buying a sports car.

Rooves... where has the word gone?!? - Yahoo! Answers

It is, in the very least, how you pronounce the plural of "roof".

It is what I was taught in school, and has made its way around some dictionaries.

/me shrugs.

Could you tell me what a hoov is?

It took some time to stop pressing my hotkeys when I look at WoW screenshots, or doing something in a word doc.

Back when I was playing WOW, pre BC (although I played through BC, i had stopped raiding at that point.) I was the ONLY enhancement shaman on the server raiding. Every other shaman were force spec restoration lol. Figures when I quit the game, Enhancement shaman become valuable for raids.
