The search is over. No more searching electronics departments, no longer do I have to check the current ads, no more checking the Wii trackers, no more searching the forums for tips....its mine! Thanks to my wife who awoke before the sun, and all the other Wii shoppers, to be number 5 in line for a new Wii shipment at Walmart. Game on!
Hey good to hear you finally got it... I was actually thinking about selling mind for an x-box but daughter would not let me. I think some of the games are kinda hard and some of them you really need to master co-ordination. but then again im a 40 year old female. men and kids seem to get these things quicker. i tried driver and its really hard. you have to use a controller in each hand and it gets kinda crazy. but the family games are great.
my parents were lucky and managed to get my brother one for chistmas. Turns out that a friend of theirs found it in a shop in italy and knew they had been looking for one. Frankly i hate the wii, i used to love the multiplayer but when i got a ps3. The wii started to feel like an expensive gamecube

The gamecube was initially marketted for what? $150? I know the 64 was at that price, I can only imagine the gamecube was higher than that.
Oh, and isn't the PS3 just a really expensive PS2 w/ Blu-ray?
I really enjoy the wii. I haven't had this much fun with a console since the first nintendo. I was really turned off by the 64 and I stopped buying nintendo. I only had like 3 or 4 games with the 64. Nintendo has hooked me again!
It is "ok" and I like the idea of games being interactive. I just watched in the news how some hospitals are using the wii for physical therapy, etc. I can see how nintendo had more of a "family approach" with the Wii.
ON the other hand, from my perspective, games have some kind of "childish" approach. I mean, they are fun and graphics are Ok, but some games feel like they are for kids.
I still prefer either the Xbox360 or the PS3 just because the games seem more challenging, scary and interesting.
