Just remember that real life is more important than getting another lvl in WoW And if your kid grows up to be a homicidal maniac because he played Manhunt and Carmageddon in his youth, it's your fault as a parent. As with movies, games have age limitations and those are for a reason.

1) Wow is noob.
2) Video games create killers and such as much as movies, the news, tv shows, and other form of media.

I am a gamer, I watch movies, even violent ones once my daughter is in bed, used to watch the evening news, and I watch several violent TV shows, and I have not killed anyone, nor would I
I did play WOW for over 2 years, it is a great game, but I got bored of it. I plan on testing out Warhammer when it comes out, and even AOC here after it is released.
I would like you to post some statistical evidence to your post.

If that were the case, then most of us would definitely be in jail by now...

I think they have helped him in many ways: great hand/eye coordination, good reasoning skills, reading. As long as parents are involved and monitor what they are playing and how long, there is nothing wrong with video game systems. It's the people who say they are so horrible that drive me crazy. Just b/c you don't like something or don't approve doesn't make it horrible for everyone.

Excellent post. This pretty much sums up what I wanted to post. The 12 year old who is turning 13 next month has XBox 360 and games for his laptop computer. He knows that he can only play when his grades are at least 3.0. We've never had any problems with him and we pretty much play anygames regardless of the rating as long as its fun. There is a healthy mix of playing outside and playing games so all is well.
I dont think video games are evil, its parents and how they raise their kids is what causes kids to have behavioral issues - NOT VIDEO GAMES. I feel sorry for parents who blame video games for their childrens issues. Are you that bad of a parent that video games have more of an influence on your child than you? If so that is very sad.

And if we're good we'd be breaking out.
Just stand in front of the jail cell door and press the Action button...
