Most played consoles?
Xbox 360>PS3>Wii>NDS>PSP>PS2>Xbox>PSone>NES>SNES>GBA>GB C/GB>Saturn
(Saturn would be higher if we had a controller for it, and NDS is up there because I'm on a Pokemon craze. >.>)

I only own a 360 and a PC.
I sold my PS2 when I could play DVDs on my PC, cause that was the main reason I bought a PS2.
Actually I that is not entirely true, I bought the PS2 because it had Tekken, but nowadays I don't think a PS3 is worth the money for only buying it as a Blue Ray player.
I stopped upgrading my PC since I stopped playing on-line games.
I only use the PC for info or to watch DVDs so I've no intention of ever upgrading it again.
I'm still hooked on good adventure games so I bought the 360 to play these types of games.

Playstation 2 until very recently (late 2007) even with the new systems out was selling more than any other console. Even with very few games still being made for that system, I would venture to guess that it's still the most played system and probably will be for another year.
The sucess of the PS2 is just extraordinary as, for awhile, it just didn't have any real competition.

I play my Super Nintendo ALOT and my Gamecube as well.
You should be able to get a Saturn controller on Ebay.

1992 - 1999 - I played Sega Game Gear. My favorite games were Joe Montana Football and those Sonic games...
1999 - 2001 - I played games on my PC a lot. I played a lot of sports games (to continue the theme), I played some Phantom Menace game (yeah, embarrassing), a few others I couldn't remember, and my favorite game was FIFA 2000.
2001 - 2007 - I used two primary tools for gaming. On my computer, I discovered this game called Championship Manager, which was more addictive than heroin. Basically, it's the deepest soccer simulation you'll find ever, and I would stay up until 5AM playing that every night (if you like soccer and you play, you'll understand why). It was about this time I got my first (of two) Gamecubes. I played most games, but again, enjoyed sports games the most, particularly from the Madden series and from MVP Baseball 2005.
2007 - Now - Ditched my Gamecube for a 360, and I play it whenever I have time. I play GTA a lot now, and if I'm not playing that, it would be either NBA2K8 or Tiger Woods 08...
