I'm getting the special edition release for my husband's birthday. He's extremely excited about it. Of course, I'll be trying it out as well..

Love it, got it on Thursday and beaten it twice already. Best game of its era imo but it might be overwhelming to someone who hasn't played the other games or who lacks patience.

Whoa, you BEAT IT already? Damn did you do marathon play or something? Have you gone online with it yet?

Man those graphics are the best I have ever seen in my entire life. In game graphics look about as good as the movie "The Incredibles". PS3 is a beast.

Yep, had a big exam too in college in between. You just can't stop when you start, the story is so gripping and the levels so great that even now i go wow and im doing it on my third time of "the boss extreme mode".

Theres just so much attention to detail and Kojima-god has gone to incredible lengths to please the fans

I have, its quite fun that you play exactly like old snake so going close combat is great. Also the levels tend to leave lots of boxes around so hiding in a box is not too obvious.

Lol, makes the experience worth-while. The most impresive thing though has to be being able to use the mk-2 to move around in the mission briefing cut-scenes or zoom in whenever
